Administrative / Biographical History
As a child, Elizabeth Barrett (1833-1918) became the ward of her cousin, Edward Barrett Moulton-Barrett, the father of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, who undertook much of her education. She later married one of Elizabeth Barrett Browning's younger brothers, Alfred Price Moulton-Barrett.
