Graham Fernie Mucklow (1894-1973) DSc, FIMechE, was Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Birmingham University, 1940-1959. He was previously lecturer in Engineering, Manchester University 1922-1940. He served as Chairman of the Midland Branch, Institution of Mechanical Engineers, 1951-1953.

He published various papers on problems relating to the internal combustion engine and wave-action in gases
