Administrative / Biographical History

Henry Lewis Ward-Price, barrister, took the post of Assistant District Commissioner, South Nigeria, 1912, was made Assistant Secretary, Nigerian Secretariat, 1924 and Assistant Secretary, Southern Provinces Secretariat, 1926. He achieved the rank of Class I, Grade I in the Administrative Service, 1929 and was later Senior Resident, Oyo Province, till 1937.
