Scope and Content

A note book of miscellaneous and confusing entries such as extracts from lectures on Church history, translations of Greek lines into Welsh, accounts of the Twthill Clothing Club, list of subscribers to a book published in 1853 and references to loans to a T. Lewis of Jesus College, Oxford.

Administrative / Biographical History

Rev. Robert Williams was the curate of Llanbeblig, Caernarfonshire under the Rev. Thomas Thomas from 1849-1853 and with the Rev. P. Constable Ellis at Llanfaes, Anglesey from the end of 1853 and for some years afterwards. He was an Oxford man of Magdalen Hall and graduated in 1849.
