UEA Collection: Jeremy Schonfield

Scope and Content

The contents relate chiefly to a period of student unrest at UEA in 1971 and in particular to the sit-in staged in protest at the University's decision to send down an American student, W.G. (Bill) Hutchinson. The contents include copies of student publications; posters for various demonstrations; and copies of various short-lived 'underground' publications, among which are the first issues of Norwich Dope News and Canopener.
