Administrative / Biographical History

On 10 March 1818 Boston Savings Bank opened a branch in Spalding. In 1899 the premises were renovated.

The first known address for the branch was recorded in 1934 as Hall Place, Chambers. On 17 September 1937 the branch moved to new premises at 36 Hall Place. On 14 December 1962 the branch moved to new premises at Sheep Market.

In 1975 the branch became part of East Midlands TSB.
