Administrative / Biographical History

William Barton Panton of Garreglwyd, Holyhead was the fourth son of Jones Panton, second son of Paul Panton of Plas Gwyn, Pentraeth, Anglesey. He married Ann, daughter of Henry Rumsey Williams, attorney, of Caernarfon.

Samuel Panton Wynn Priestley who died 11 November 1897 was the son of John Owen Jones Priestley of Plas Hen, Chwilog, Caernarfonshire and grandson of the William Barton Panton aforementioned.

Garreglwyd is a mansion house situated in the parish of Holyhead.
