Administrative / Biographical History
William Warrender Mackenzie, 1st Baron Amulree of Strathbraan (1860-1942) was a lawyer and industrial arbitrator. He was chairman of numerous Royal Commissions, including the Royal Commission on Newfoundland, 1933, and Secretary of State for Air, 1930-1. Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.
