Custodial History
One archive box of photocopies of militant miners' news sheets and a few related items were loaned to the Centre by Dr Robert Neville in 1975. The copies taken from these originals form this deposit and are the property of the Modern Records Centre. In 1981 Dr John Field deposited photocopies of 8 newssheets from the papers of the late Jock Kane of the Yorkshire National Union of Mineworkers (references beginning MSS.88B) which supplemented the original deposit. The originals of the photocopies in this deposit were returned to Dr Robert Neville or Dr John Field as appropriate. The editions of 'The Mineworker' and 'Link-up' were transferred from Warwick University Library.
