At a Court Baron of Christopher Jeaffreson esq. before James Garth, steward. The homage present the death of Abraham Clements and by his will 27 Jan. 1779 he gave to his eldest son Abraham all his copyhold cottages...which he purchased of Isaac Harrison and of Thomas Pratt, to hold for himself and his heirs. If he should have no heir the premises to be for the use of his youngest son John...And Abraham the son prays to be admitted as tenant of the cottages now in occupation of Thomas Cook, [?] Woollard, and [?] Pruer, to which his father was admitted 7 Oct. 1775...And the said Abraham pays the fine £11 and is admitted. Examined by James Garth.
