Administrative / Biographical History
R. S. O'Fahey received his doctorate from the University of London in 1972. His thesis was on 'The growth and development of the Keira Sultanate of Dar Fur' [Thesis 818 274403] and he has since written a number of works on Dar Fur and the Sudan. He was lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and then at the University of Bergen in Norway.
