Scope and Content

Christopher John Anstey esq of Trumpington stands bound to William Adams of Russell Square, Middlesex, Doctor of Civil Law, in #4,000 to secure payment of #2,000 with interest, apparently for purchase of property. Completed, printed bond, signatures and much of the condition cut away, duty stamps. Solicitors employed are Baker and Hodgson of 52 Lincoln's Inn Fields.
