Administrative / Biographical History
G.C. Taylor and Son, sail and rope makers, Jamaica Works, Dundee, was founded in 1884 by George Taylor. In 1906 Jamaica Works, Dundee, was acquired by the company. In 1920 the company was sold to Boase Spinning Co.
