Scope and Content

A collection of albumen prints measuring approximately 210 x 280 mm, captioned either in the negative or in pencil on the reverse. The collection contains several duplicates and appears to contain photographs from several sources. Prints 1-10 show architectural and landscape views in Egypt (Cairo, the Pyramids and the Suez Canal), the remainder are commercial ethnographical studies of native people from Egypt, the Sudan, Somalia and Abyssinia.
