Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The DACA was formed in 1908 to improve the status and terms and conditions of audit clerks. Proposals to merge with the larger Clerical Officers' Association (COA) were rejected in 1920 but carried in 1921. The COA became the Civil Service Clerical Association (CSCA) in the same year.
