Acquisition Information

The first three were purchased by the National Cycle Archive in August 2000 at a Phillips auction sale and deposited 3 June 2001. The photographs of F. H. Grubb are an earlier deposit. Hoyland Star Cycling Club photograph was deposited 16 February 2004 by Mr R. Boreham, who also donated 2 photographs in 2014.The Dursley-Pedersen photograph: copy received in July 2005.The photographs of Evelyn Hamilton were sent by her family in 2005.The photograph of S. H. Ineson was sent by his descendants in May 2006.The photographs of Kingsdale Cycling Club and of the Loiterers' Section of the Cyclists' Touring Club were deposited in March 2006.Photocopies of photographs of the Stone family were deposited in October 2006.Copy of photograph of Rose Lamartine Yates (1877-1954), sent in June 2006.A young boy on a BMX bicycle, ?c. 1970s, deposited by the National Cycle Archive in February 2006. Further items deposited by Dr Andrew Millward or other donors as indicated.
