  • Copy catalogue of the bequest of medals and orders compiled by Clive Hughes, with drawings, a file of correspondence with Messrs. Spink & Son, Ltd., 1975

Administrative / Biographical History

Dr Ifor H. Lloyd of Penmaenwawr, north Wales was an avid collector of medals from various military campaigns worldwide. His extensive collection of medals and orders of chivalry was bequeathed to the University College of North Wales, Bangor in 1965 and exhibited by the University in the same year.

Material is arranged in chronological order and incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts .
