Arthur James Sherwell, 1863 - 1942, MP and Temperance campaigner.

Sherwell was born in London and educated privately. From 1906 to 1918 he wasLiberal MP for Huddersfield. Prior to Parliament he was occupied in sociologicaland politico-economic studies and literary work.
