Administrative / Biographical History

P.M. Dempster transferred from the police to the Colonial Service in 1954, serving as district officer at Kilgoris, Kenya until 1955, Egoji until 1956, Nithi Division, Chuka until 1957, Meru until 1958, Embu Division until 1960, and as district commissioner, Marsabit, Northern Province until 1962.
