Thomas Percivall of Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, [now Suffolk], John Clarke of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and Samuel Clarke of Greys Inn sell to Thomas Firmin of Swaffham Prior, Cambridgeshire, certain land in the above parishes for the term of one year at a peppercorn rent, that he may be in possession and able to take a release. Witnesses: for Thomas Percivall: Anthony Sloman, John Craske, Robert Wardell; for John Clarke: Thomas Barnardiston, John Rumbelow; for Samuel Clarke: Edward Wagstaffe, Samuell Palmer, Joane Wagstaffe. On the back is a receipt for the consideration money signed by Thomas Percivall. Date: the same. Witness John Rant. Two seals are attached.
