Beeston Trades and Labour Council was dissolved on the 12th December 1907, apparently as a result of the failure of affiliated societies to pay their dues.

Custodial History

The volume of minutes of Beeston Trades and Labour Council was deposited on indefinite loan in the Centre by Mr Norman Smith of Beeston, son of the Trades and Labour Council secretary from 1904, Mr Herbert Smith. It was passed to the Centre on the 10th September 1976 through the good offices of Mr George Hodgkinson, a member of the Centre's advisory board and relative by marriage of Mr Smith.
