Scope and Content

Photocopied documents and original material relating to the history of north Wales, and the Llandudno and Llanfairfechan areas in particular. Comprises: 

  • Copy of extracts from an unspecified work on the Salisbury family of Llanrwst, Rug and Bachymbyd, no date
  • Copies of photographs of Llanfairfechan railway station, ca. 19th and 20th centuries

Administrative / Biographical History

Robert D. Barnsdale of Llanfairfechan, north Wales graduated in history at the University of Wales, Bangor. He is a regular reader at the university archives and at Conwy Record Office where he has also worked as a volunteer. His particular research interest is the history of Llandudno.

Arrangement

Material was received on separate occasions and incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts .
