Administrative / Biographical History
The International Defence and Aid Fund for Southern Africa (IDAF) was established by Canon John Collins in 1956. Its aim was to support peaceful solutions to apartheid by raising and distributing funding to those affected by apartheid laws, especially political prisoners and their dependents. The IDAF was wound up in 1991.
