Scope and Content

Papers of the Iredell family, 1907-52, comprising:

  • diary kept by Anne Iredell while in Belgium with her parents during the First World War
  • letters to the Rev. E.O. Iredell from Luis Araquistin, 1944-52, mainly concerning the Spanish Civil War and its aftermath, with a copy of Iredell's book, Franco, Valeroso Caballero Christiano (Argentina: 1945)
  • album of photographs relating to Oxford and the Iredell family, interleaved with material relating to a delegation to Loyalist Spain during the Spanish Civil War, 1937.
