Comprises a journal compiled by the coastguard containing reports of his activities, both office based and while on patrol.

Administrative / Biographical History

In 1880, the coastguard, Thomas John Thomas operated along the north Wales coast around Nefyn, Porth Dinllaen, Porth Golmon and Aberdaron, patrolling, visiting wrecks, keeping reports, issuing certificates and attending to other office duties.
