Administrative / Biographical History

The National Union of British Fishermen was formed in 1919 by the amalgamation of the Grimsby Trawl Fishermen's Protective Society and the Grimsby Fishermen's Trade Union. It amalgamated with the Transport and General Workers' Union in 1922.
