Principal Silas Morris Diaries

Scope and Content

24 diaries which are based on the Welsh Baptist Union Handbook, dating from 1881-1919. The first two diaries contain the name, Henry Morris, and several contain numerous notes on algebra, Greek, German, geography, chemistry and sermon topics.

Administrative / Biographical History

Silas Morris, born in 1862, was amongst the first students of the University College of North Wales. He was principal of the Bangor Baptist College from 1896 until his death in 1923.
