A manuscript book, written at both ends in two different hands. One hand somewhat big and ungainly, possibly John Jenkins, the other small and neat, Thomas Morgan.
In the hand of Jenkins is one sermon delivered at St. Mary Hill in Glamorgan on 23 October 1664 and another on 29 May 1665. Besides outlines of sermons are theological notes on various topics.
In the hand of Morgan are englynion, a Latin version of the first psalm and an amatory verse to Jane Davies of Swansea, dated 12 April 1687. Then comes a series of sermons, very fully written with many quotations from the Fathers - homely Welsh idiom. Two are memorial sermons after Mrs William, Aberpergwm, 1 May 1692 and Mr Llywelyn of Ynys-y-gerwn, 15 April 1696. Also in this hand is a copy of a love-letter, a letter to Sir Leoline Jenkins and a copy of a petition on behalf of a friend for living in Gower, written to Mr Crowe, agent to the Duke of Beaufort.
