Also includes programmes for Peter Hall Company productions 1997-2008.

Administrative / Biographical History

Cordelia Monsey was born on the 5th September 1956 to Yvonne Mitchell and Derek Monsey. The mainstay of Monsey’s career was in her work with Sir Peter Hall and the Sir Peter Hall Company as an Assistant Director, including major productions of ‘Amadeus’ (1999); and ‘Love’s Labour’s Lost’ (2008). Monsey’s body of work also includes her own solo directorial projects and tutoring.

The archive was gifted to the Borthwick Institute in 2018.
