The archive of Canon Woodard is mostly concerned with his work as envoy of the Central Council for Religious Education, a post he held from 1941 until 1950, and consequently relates largely to the Anglican Church's role in education and religious instruction. Little of a personal nature is included among the papers other than a few letters relating to posts held by Woodard.
