Administrative / Biographical History

This company was incorporated in 1925 to acquire the business of Robert Isherwood. Following his resignation as director, Rorbert Isherwood was appointed veterinary adviser on 2 January 1933. It was managed by the Bishop's Wharf Carrying Company Limited and was later acquired by the national road haulage and warehousing company, the Transport Development Group.

These records were deposited in 1986 by the advisory service of the Business Archives Council, which had acquired them in 1985.
