Administrative / Biographical History
The Scottish Farm Servants' Union amalgamated with the Transport and General Workers' Union in 1933, but retained an autonomous identity as the Scottish Farm Servants' Section for some time after that. It was closely associated with the Scottish Sea Fishers' Union, with which it shared a secretary.
