Administrative / Biographical History
G.A.C. Herklots (b 1902), CBE (1961) was educated at Trent College, Derbyshire,Leeds University and Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He was made Secretary forDevelopment, Hong Kong, 1946, Secretary for Colonial AgriculturalRes[ources] and Secretary of the Committee for Colonial Agriculture, AnimalHealth and For[estry] Res[ources], Colonial Office, 1948. He served asPrincipal, I.C.T.A., from 1953.
