Scope and Content

Will of Catherine Williams, 1820, February 11 in which the testator bequeathed the rent from Cae'r Eurych in the parish of Llangristiolus to her grandfather Williams Hughes; items of furniture, clothing etc to her aunts Mary and Jane Hughes, her cousin Catherine Hughes and other relatives at Plas-bach. She left one shilling to her brother John and named her grandfather William Hughes as her executor.

Catherine Williams lived at Plas-bach in the parish of Cerrigceinwen, Anglesey, north Wales. She owned property at Cae'r Eurych in the parish of Llangristiolus. Other family members include her grandfather William Hughes, brother John Williams, aunts Mary Hughes of Tyn-y-coed, Llangadwaladr and Jane Hughes.
