Sir Roy George Douglas Allen (1906-1983) was a statistician and academic. He was Professor of Statistics at the University of London, 1944-1973, and held numerous public appointments, including the chairmanship of the Committee on the Impact of Rates from 1963 to 1965. He was knighted in 1966.
