Custodial History
The archive was received by the University of Warwick Library along with a substantial quantity of books and other library materials from the Transport and General Workers' Union regional office in West Bromwich. The papers appear to have come from the office of C.H. Urwin, one time regional secretary; some relate to an earlier stage of his career when he was district organiser in Coventry. The archive has been placed in the Centre via John Bennett on indefinite loan.
