Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Adelheid ('Ada') Heinemann was born in Frankfurt in 1890. She was the daughter of Sophie (née Epstein, 1868-1954) and Jacob Hermann Schiff (1852-1920). She got married to Friedrich Heinrich (Fritz) Heinemann in 1918. They had a son, Franz Markus, in 1920. Adelheid and Friedrich appear to have emigrated to London together with their son and Adelheid's mother in the 1930s.
