A ledger, recording many financial transactions such as loans and railway speculation etc., 1837-1848. Loosely inserted are letters and circulars and a rental of part of the estate of Ignatius Williams.

Administrative / Biographical History

John Ignatius Williams lived at Pentremawr near Denbigh, north Wales. It is clear from this ledger that he was a man of some means but no further biographical information was available at time of compilation of description.
