Mary Flack, a poor child of Babraham, with the consent of Robert Jones Adeane, Lord of the Manor, and at the nomination of William Holme, Minister of Babraham, John Phipps, churchwarden, and Stephen Sparrow, overseer of the poor, puts herself apprentice to Mary Lofts, straw-bonnet-maker, of Sawston, for a term of four years. The churchwarden and overseer are to pay to Mary Lofts a certain sum in instalments. Witnessed by Thomas Pelt and Francis Clay. Six seals are attached. On the back are two receipts signed by Mary Lofts for sums paid by the churchwarden in accordance with the agreement.
