Whereas it was proposed to reduce the length of the chancel in rebuilding, and whereas a Commission was appointed by the Bishop to report whether such a reduction would be prejudicial, and whereas the Commissioners after viewing the chancel and hearing witnesses reported that it would not be prejudicial, with certain reservations as to the proposals to reduce the height, the Bishop grants a faculty for carrying out the proposed alterations.
Grant of faculty by Herbert [Marsh], Bishop of Peterborough, for the alteration of the chancel of Naseby parish church, Naseby, Northamptonshire
