Administrative / Biographical History

The Dwylan estate was situated in the parish of Llanengan, Caernarfonshire. During the 19th century, Dwylan was held by Thomas Williams [fl. 1805-1863], surgeon, the son of William Thomas (1772-1853) of Pwllheli, architect, and his wife Catherine. Williams and Catherine and had a son, William Wynne Williams [fl. 1857-1861].
