Scope and Content

Miles March, gent., of Haddenham, I. of E., Cambs., makes oath that he and John Towers, gent., late of Haddenham, pursuant to a letter of attorney by Sir John Pettus, Kt. of Cheston Hall, Suffolk, and Samuell Sandys esq. of Ombersley, Worcs., the cousin and next heir of Sir Miles Sandys, Bt., did take...execute livery...quietly and peaceable possession of a messuage mentioned in an indenture of 19 July 1660 made between Sir John Pettus and Samuel Sandys of the one part, and Thomas Castle the younger, of Haddenham, of the other part granting the messuage to the said Thomas Castle...Signed by Miles March. Sworn before and signed by Ed. Lowe, [Magistrate?] in Cancellaria.
