Administrative / Biographical History
H.V.L. Tubbs was a 2nd Lieutenant, 1st/11th Battalion, London Regiment, 1914-1917, serving in Egypt/Palestine. He was transferred to RFC (Royal Flying Corps) in 1917, serving with No. 24 Squadron on the Western Front and with No. 143 Squadron on Home Defence. He later became a Squadron Leader.
