Mylwarde's lease, held of his former master Sir Thomas Pope and dated 2 Jan 1 & 2 Philip and Mary, is for 80 years following the expiry of an earlier 50-year lease of the property made in 32 Henry VIII by Pope to Thomas Bridges esq of Cornbury, Oxfordshire (Doc 3924). Indenture, signed and sealed by Paramoure. Tagged pendant small red round seal with unidentified heraldic device.
