Administrative / Biographical History

The Royal Technical College Dramatic Club was formed in session 1925/1926. In session 1927/1928 it was renamed the Royal Technical College Dramatic and Musical Club. Its object was to foster the interests of music and drama amongst the students. In every session, the club presented one dramatic performance and one or two orchestral concerts. Organ recitals by prominent city organists were also arranged from time to time. Membership was open to all present and past students. The club was still in existence in session 1939/1940.
