(1) Postcard from T J Wise to [Stewart Marsh] Ellis, Kent Gardens, Kew, Surrey. 'I should like to be identified as a descendant of the Wises who published some of the Shakespeare Quartos!' (18 September 1931). Intialled by Wise.
(2) Letter from Mrs Wise to Ellis at the same address. Arranges a meeting at the theatre. 'Tom is still improving, he hobbled into the library yesterday ...' (31 August 1932). Autograph, with signature.
