Administrative / Biographical History

This body was formed in 1965 on the termination of the North East Coast and Scottish Steel Makers' Association and the Midland and Welsh Steel Makers' Association (known collectively as the Heavy Steel Associations). It was a member of the British Steel Producers' Conference.
