Executive Committee minutes (1909-36; 1961-5); correspondence about annual conferences, telegraphists' cramp, agreements and the transfer of engagements to the NGA (1909-65); publications, including copies of the journal, The Press Telegraphist(1924-65); London and Manchester branch records (1910-65).

Administrative / Biographical History

The NUPT was founded in August 1909 and amalgamated with the National Graphical Association in June 1965. An outline of its history is given in the Jubilee Souvenir booklet included in the deposit (ref. MSS.39/PT/4/4/1).
