John de Drokton' confirms his gift (with warranty) to Walter Howesson' of Orewell [Orwell], of three rods arable land in the south field of Orwell, with the reversion of one rod which Agnes, widow of John Cobbe, holds for her life, all of which he holds by the gift and feoffment of Roger, vicar of Whaddon church. One rod lies in Waterslades, next the land of the rector of Malketon [Malton], and abutting Waterslades Weye. Another rod lies next land once Alan Bounn's, and abuts on Waterslades Weye. The third rod lies next to land formerly belonging to Nigel Walfrey, abutting on the same road. Deed poll, witnessed by Robert ?Caldecote, Nicholas [?-]ryn, John le Smyth, Nicholas ?Fraunceys, Nicholas Howesson [?Howessdon] of Orewell, and others. Seal wanting. No endorsement.
