Acquisition Information

Donated by Mr. Caleb Robjohns. Leather bookplate of Edward Hailstone (1818-1890) included in former 18th century binding which is kept with the volume.

Note

This Book of Hours was probably created in Flanders in the 14th century. It is written in Latin with gold, red and blue illuminations.

Conserved and rebound by the Cambridge Colleges Conservation Consortium in 2003.
